BluePoint Venture Marketing Continues to Expand

Marketing Services Firm Adds New Team Members, Expands Diversifying Client Portfolio

LEXINGTON, Mass. – June 23, 2008

BluePoint Venture Marketing, an outsourced marketing consulting firm for emerging and growth-stage technology companies, today announced it has signed eight new clients across a range of technology sectors. Each of the engagements includes a mix of BluePoint’s strategic marketing services including branding, positioning and marketing infrastructure, as well as direct marketing, lead generation and public relations. To support this growth, BluePoint has recently added four new employees and promoted two team members.

OrderMotion (Boston, Mass.) – A developer of Web-based software that enables e-commerce merchants to take orders, manage inventory and process payments via one easy-to-use interface.

AIS Voice (McLean, VA) - The leading provider of intuitive speech technology and interactive voice response solutions.

PeopleAhead (Waltham, Mass.) A growing online career advancement site that uses its TrueMatch technology to match experienced professionals with hiring companies.

Proginet Corporation (OTCBB: PRGF; Garden City, NY) – a leading developer of enterprise software for advanced managed file transfer and security applications.

Tradual (Waltham, Mass.) – a recently-funded start-up focused on the foreign currency exchange marketplace.

BluePoint Promotions, New Additions

In addition to new client engagements, BluePoint promoted Melissa Coyle to Director of Marketing Programs. Coyle joined BluePoint in 2005 and during the past four years has developed, managed and implemented highly successful marketing programs for alumni and current clients such as American BioPhysics, CourseAdvisor, PermissionTV, Trigence and xkoto.  

In addition to Coyle’s promotion, BluePoint hired Erica Camilo as a Senior Associate and promoted her to Manager of Account Services.  Camilo joined BluePoint from the Horn Group, a national technology communications firm. Most recently she was a Senior Account Executive and led traditional and social media relations, viral communications initiatives, customer and analyst relations programs and speaking and award development.

Other new hires included Kristen Weldon as Senior Associate; John Connolly as Associate and Sandra Davies as Office Manager. 

Weldon most recently served as Marketing Programs Manager at Foedus, a leading technology services company specializing in virtualization services recently acquired by VMware. At Foedus, Weldon oversaw all marketing programs, including lead-generation, messaging, seminars, webinars and technology focus groups. She also managed the B2B partner relationships with technology providers, vendors and industry PR contacts.  

Connolly joined BluePoint after earning his B.S. degree in Marketing from Bentley College. Prior to BluePoint, Connolly spearheaded all public relations efforts at Mats Inc., a construction company specializing in commercial buildings, by creating award programs, leading speaking initiatives and managing media relations.

Davies most recently served as Client Services Manager at Bay Financial Associates, an affiliate of Linsco/Private Ledger, the leadingU.S. independent brokerage firm, where she oversaw service delivery and client relations. She also has previous experience as a market research analyst at Technomic Consultants and Data Resources/McGraw Hill.

Mall Networks (Lexington, Mass.) – is the company that connects top online retailers to the universe of consumer rewards programs. Mall Networks has built customized online malls for organizations such as the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Los Angeles Dodgers and NASCAR RacePoints, as well as Epilepsy.com and Shop.org’s cybermonday.com. Trigence Corp.
