Erica Camilo delivers a mix of public relations and marketing expertise to her clients. She provides strategic counsel on messaging, marketing initiatives, and public relations campaigns tied to business goals, in addition to high-quality, laser-focused media results. With experience spanning a range of industries including B2B and B2C technology, Erica has helped establish a plethora of startup companies in the North American market.

• Senior Account Executive at Horn Group, a technology communications firm, she provided overall account program management and messaging guidance. She was responsible for leading media relations, customer and analyst relations programs, as well as collateral, news release, speaking and award development to establish growing start ups as market pioneers. In addition, she managed crisis communication activities and viral initiatives. In her tenure at Horn Group, Erica serviced a range of accounts including: Archer Technologies, Cape Clear, IDC Manufacturing Insights, Information Builders, Kalido, OutlookSoft, RippleTech, Sophos and WeeWorld.

• Associate at Bridgeman Communications, a Boston-based public relations firm, she focused on delivering media results for a range of technology and consumer clients including: @stake, Best Cellars, Shorecliff Communications and Texas Instruments’ RFID Group (TI-RFid). In addition to traditional public relations activities, she supported her team’s secret shopper and guerilla marketing efforts, and led an RFID “myth-busters” campaign to combat consumer privacy issues and better educate the market.

• She has also held positions at LEWIS PR (a global public relations firm) and Eduventures, Inc. (a research advisory firm focused on the education market)

• Education – she holds a Masters of Science degree in Corporate Public Relations from Boston University where she helped teach multiple undergraduate courses, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Boston College.
